Chris
Kirrily Waldhorn (Aus)

Presenting:
Saturday 22nd May, Beer & Food Matching, 12:30pm (BMW Edge)

Kirrily is not your stereotypical beer presenter. She has appeared on radio, TV and in the press talking about everything from the ancient history of beer to beer gastronomy and busting beer myths (and there are plenty).

Kirrily is on a mission to make beer the new wine in Australia and is introducing Australians to the benefits of pouring a fine pilsner - instead of a fine pinot - at the dinner table. Kirrily has won over many foodies, sophisticates and women to the complexities and diverse styles of beer. It's all a far cry from the usual image Aussies have of the bloated, overweight, belching, football-loving beer drinker.

Kirrily has spent 11 years working in the beer industry. She is the Editor of Beer & Brewer magazine and is a regular contributor to a number of different publications. Kirrily is also a beer judge, a keynote speaker at most of the Beer Festivals occurring in Australia and most recently starred in 'Beer Diva - Beer is proof God wants us to be happy' - at The Sydney Opera House. Kirrily, as The Beer Diva is thoroughly entertaining and really knows her beer.

Chris

Chris Badenoch (Aus)

Presenting:
Saturday 22nd May, Beer & Food Matching, 3:30pm (BMW Edge)

Chris Badenoch has long been a passionate home cook and brought his 'nose to tail' style of cooking to a greater audience on MasterChef Australia, where he was best known as the hat-wearing beer fanatic whose perfect roast pigs head both fascinated and polarised the nation. After a successful career as a graphic artist, Chris gave it up to start a career celebrating his two passions, beer and food. Chris divides his time between beer tastings, cooking demonstrations and recipe development, where he hopes to bring a greater understanding of the nose to tail ethos to the country. ww.chrisbadenoch.com
